πŸ“’πŸŒ Professor Tejraj Aminabhavi as Plenary Speaker at 4th CMEE in Bali, Indonesia! 🌱✨

Professor Tejraj Aminabhavi, director of research at the center of energy and environment, KLE Technological University, India was invited as a Plenary Speaker at the 4th International Symposium on Carbon & Functional Materials for Energy & Environment (4th CMEE)! This prestigious event took place from February 19–22, 2025, at the Bali Botanical Gardens, Bali, Indonesia.

Tejraj Aminabhavi presented his pioneering results related to computational modelling approaches regarding the carbon credits. He discussed elegantly on this topic as to how the carbon materials are necessary to understand nature’s carbon credits, mentioning about the international scenario of the development of carbon materials for energy requirements of the materials responsible to reduce environmental pollution issues. Later, part of his talk was more on how carbon materials that can be prepared in the laboratory are so important in developing technologies for hydrogen production and storage. In this respect he discussed about the details of six Indian patents he developed along with his colleagues at CTIE and the Center for Energy and Environment of KLE Tech. Majority of his presentation was around the United Nations sustainable goals (SDGs) with regard to environment and energy, particularly, on hydrogen storage computational models developed by Dr. OMKAR KUSHWAHA, Adjunct faculty from IIT Chennai and with Harshit Mittal, a BTECH research assistant. Aminabhavi mentioned how the original models developed by Kenneth Pitzer to understand how CO2 capture is helpful to know more about thermodynamics of compressing gasses taking the example of Fullerene-based materials, originally developed by Robert Curl. The talk has brought valuable insights to the symposium. His expertise undoubtedly elevated the discussions on sustainable technologies, clean energy, and environmental preservation.

The 4th CMEE is set to be an inspiring platform for academics, researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers to engage in the dynamic discussions and collaborations. The symposium has focused on critical themes, including:

πŸ”¬ Environmental Science and Engineering
